In the same way, we want to tell you about what some Italians, Europeans and other non-Americans evidently feel about George W. Bush and Americas foreign policy.
Over the last couple of years youll have been bombarded with TV and press coverage that continually reports that England and Europe and the rest of the world is totally against George Bushs military policies and that America is completely out of favor in Europe
However, for the past two months, weve been running an online poll from this page, and whats emerged from the statistical results is that a small but significant number of NON-Americans want George Bush re-elected to another term of office in November 2004, AND WOULD VOTE FOR BUSH IF THEY WERE AMERICAN
Adam Nixon now writes below with a personal explanation of why many Europeans and foreign nationals around the globe want Bush to win in 2004:
Im British, an Englishman, a European, I live in Italy, and I know of many, many European citizens who want America to win the war in Iraq and who want George W. Bush to win election to a second term. They certainly dont want John Kerry infiltrating the White House.
Tens of thousands in Europe who want Bush to win? Actually it's most probably a great deal many more than that - Take the readership of the British Daily Telegraph newspaper for one thing Founded in 1855, the Telegraph newspaper today has a conservative editorial stance and readership, supports US military action in Iraq and is Britains biggest selling national broadsheet daily, (hardly a minority) with a circulation of 923,815 copies a day,

not to mention the hordes of British expatriates abroad who log in to the online version of the Daily Telegraph...
But do you ever hear of these million and more British newspaper readers alone who would vote Bush if they were Americans? No you don't - Because its Europeans like these who the democrat-favoring media don't want you to hear about. When CNN film in Europe, they never interview people like these at length It would spoil the biased, pre-packaged view theyre trying to put across. On your TV youll only ever see them squeezed in as a sound-bite from the local minority 'wacko's' and quoted out of context to fit the popular liberal media spin. But nevertheless, officially invisible and gagged as they are on national television and press, the pro-Bush Europeans exist, and they exist in their millions - and for very good reasons, which I shall explain in a moment...
A second international ethnic group which runs into literally millions of people worldwide who want George Bush to remain in the White House is of course Jewish people, wherever in the world they may be, and they are of course everywhere. Their reasons need no explanation at all - Bottom line - they would never feel relaxed under an administration that was soft on Islamic and Palestinian terror, such as a Kerry administration would be.
(see: http://www.benadorassociates.com/article/8368) It is of course true that as a rule only 30 percent of Jewish Americans vote Republican, because of the traditionally strong evangelical Christian links with Republicanism in the US that Jews are uncomfortable with. But outside of America, and the geographically closer to Israel itself that we get, the higher this figure of Bush supporters and Kerry fearers is likely to be. Outside of America, there are seven million Jews throughout the world. Therefore, at least 30 percent, if not most of them, are worried about Kerry selling Israel out, and leaving them open to genocide attacks from the Muslim nations that surround Israel, with the rest of the world's quiet consent. Kerry is predicted to sell out Israel as the bargaining chip to try to win back America's favor with the rest of the world. (in 1980, Reagan actually took 40 percent of the American Jewish vote, due to Jewish dissatisfaction with Carter's handling of Israel). So obvious is this Jewish fear to any intelligent observer that the mostly anti-Semitic pro-palestine liberal press in America and Europe don't even bother to report it to you. They think that you "wouldn't be interested". So, the world's Jews are the media-gagged majority. (what's new?) But they're out there nevertheless, worldwide, in their millions, waiting and hoping and praying that you in America will vote for Bush on their behalf. Don't forget them, even though Kerry would.
But I'm not Jewish. Not even close.
So I want to write to you now about a third, massive group of world citizens who want George Bush to stay in power - Europeans...
Flaky, communistic, spineless, rioting Europeans?
No - The good news for you is that they're not the Europeans I'm talking about in this article. Not the Europeans you see on TV. I'm talking about the rest of us - Yep, the Europeans with manners, who don't riot in the streets -
I'm writing to you now on behalf, of REAL Europeans, MATURE Europeans, EDUCATED Europeans, HISTORICALLY AWARE Europeans and CHRISTIAN Europeans whose ancestors and forebears have lived and suffered through centuries of international and religious continental wars, persecutions and genocides long, long, long before the USA was born, Europeans who dont spend their day glued to the TV but have better things to do, such as getting on with work, with business, with education, with church, with defense of the realm, and with trying to raise and support honest, decent families, yes, I want to tell you how these Europeans REALLY feel about George Bush and the war in Iraq Because there are in fact many many people in Europe, in England, and also in the many other advanced democratic industrial nations of both hemispheres who side wholeheartedly with America and in particular with Americas current government and defense policy. It's these Europeans that I want to tell you about.
Many in Europe want sustained military defense against Islamic terrorism, and want George Bush to win the next election to achieve this. They are relying and actively hoping and even praying for America to vote in George Bush for a second term, so that he can continue to defend the free world for them. Please then vote for George Bush this November because he is Europes only hope of getting back on the right road. Europe needs a strong America to help us in this time of change and unrest.
We in Europe want you to know that many of the news reports you see in America about European popular political feeling are not true. There are billions of us in Europe and elsewhere in the world, who love America...
We love the America who fights for us, as she has always fought for us, to maintain world peace, and we in Europe are tired of being misrepresented in the modern popular leftist American media. I hope that these, my words, have helped put your mind at rest Europe is not turning its back on America - Because there are still enough of us right-thinking traditional Europeans who are on Americas side, because we know that America, as always, simply wants to do whats right. You wont hear of us in the media, but Im writing this so that you will know that we are here and that we are batting for America the brave, and that we don't want you to give up in your fight for right So ignore what the populist media is telling you, and listen instead to what this Englishman in Europe is telling you about how things really are, and how we want them to be With a little sustained help from George W Bush, who we consider to be our friend and protector - We in Europe want you to continue to support George Bush in the war on terror.
Im now going to explain in more detail to you why we in Europe want you in America to vote George Bush into office a second time in 2004.
The first thing I want you to know is that America has done nothing wrong. There are many of us in Europe and other parts of the world, people like myself who are grateful to America for protecting the world, for promoting free trade and continuing to do so.
Americans You are a fine race of people, and millions of people around the world look to you as our inspiration, our protector and our guiding light We want you to know that theres no need for Americans to feel guilty about anything they have done on the world stage over the past century. So please, American voter, stop beating yourself about the head with the stick of guilt over Americas foreign policy record that the popular media keep waving in your face. Americas international policy record is brave and true. Under George Bush in this 21st Century, America is simply continuing the good work it has always done that is, to liberate beleaguered and weaker nations from oppressors and help give them a leg up onto the first rung of the ladder of financial self-sufficiency and self-respect. Lets keep it that way please Vote for George W Bush this November in the sure and certain knowledge that you are doing the right thing by Europe and sensible thinking people everywhere.
But those of you who have recently or currently live in or have traveled in Europe and elsewhere abroad will have seen what a mess the world outside of the USA is these days. Europe is becoming a shambles, with parts of some of its nations beginning to resemble third world countries. In England, beer-drunken youths prowl the streets after dark in search of weaker citizens to rob and assault. In Italy, scores of selfish hedonists and trade unionists spend their days in nothing more than labor strikes and the empty pursuit of fashion and interior design, while outside the walls of these typically decadent Europeans glitzy antique carved baroque stone, brick and marble constructed homes, uncollected trash lies piled high in the streets, and potholes and cracks widen and deepen in their appallingly serviced roads and sidewalks. Here in Italy for instance, where I am obliged to live for a time, nationalized service utilities such as gas, electricity, water, telecommunications, postal services and state education still reek with the stale stench of Europes dead and rotting sacred cow of communism They try to keep the ghost of it alive by means of sporadic strikes and general foot-dragging and slovenly employee inefficiency.
In the United States of America, the democratic pursuit of individuality has historically expressed and manifested itself in actions of creativity, industry, invention, philanthropy and courage. In contrast, the pursuit of individuality in post-WW2 Europe has expressed and manifested itself in actions of civil disorder, industrial strikes, hedonism, depraved so-called art, public inefficiency, lowered educational standards, incest, drug-taking, gang violence, and murder increasingly committed by children as young as ten years old.
Premieres such as Italys Mr Silvio Berlusconi, or Britains Tony Blair, work hard and mean well, though have increasing difficulty in maintaining the personal morality and good civic conduct of their citizens. Italians, though now having an extremely high standard of living, perhaps the highest in Europe and with an expanding economy (most drive new cars, own their own family homes, possess the latest luxury goods and high-tech mobile phones, computers, hi-fis and wide-screen TVs, wear the latest cutting-edge tailored designer fashions, and have safe jobs, often in state-funded and public positions with guaranteed lifelong wages and pensions), these same Italians nevertheless march ungratefully in increasing thousands in public street protests against their government. If these people were children, we would simply say that they are spoiled.
They march in the streets against their governments and against America on behalf of so-called international peace and civil rights - Yet in their personal observance of civil rights on any other day of the week, they hypocritically will not so much as stop or even slow down their car or motor-scooter at a zebra crossing in these same streets, for a pedestrian or child to cross safely.
An Italians home is his castle As a rule, he lives in finely furnished serenity behind seven feet high walls with expensive electric remote-controlled steel gates, yet beyond his walls, his own residential streets are filled with the litter of discarded candy and sandwich wrappers, pizza boxes, empty soft drink cans, water bottles, cellphone recharging cards, industrial waste dumped illegally in residential household skips, and of course, dogdirt, such is the absence of the average modern Italians social conscience towards even his or her fellow citizen. Those of you who have visited Italy on vacation will have seen this firsthand. The faculties of Italian state grade schools and high schools are child-inculcating hotbeds of atheistic neo-marxism, while the schools themselves actually care so little for their charges that they do not even provide lockers and sports fields for the pupils. Kids have to carry all their entire set of heavy school textbooks in huge rucksacks because no storage facilities are provided at the school, and these same schools are closed for several days each year for union strikes.
I heard that the janitor in my local Italian state grade school is a convicted drug felon. His job is safe because he has 'standing' in the local community and is said to be reformed. Well, he may be a good guy now, but there's a billion and one other jobs they could have given him other than looking after children. Nevertheless, such is his efficiency that stray dogs are allowed to run around loose in the school yard. Should a nation that allows its seats of child education to be run at such a low ebb of quality-control be listened to when it speaks out about American politics? Italians make bold to lecture America on international affairs, but the streets and public services of their own cities lie in disrepair and filth, and local political corruption, favoritism, sexist and racist exploitation and nepotism in the workplace is the order of the day, while the no-hope, forget personal standards and blame the state ideology is indoctrinated into the next generation of Italian adults by their schoolteachers, who in turn were likewise inculcated in their impressionable youth by their schoolteachers. Todays young Europeans, and especially Italians, are not merely anti-war Their political immaturity stems from the fact that they are simply, selfishly, anti-civic.
Tomorrows young Italians are taught in school by rote of the heroism and vision of past great Italians such as Garibaldi, yet everything else in the method and ideology of their scholastic, family or social education and conditioning is systematically poisoning them against gaining a proper understanding or adoption of the personal qualities of temperance necessary for responsible, patriotic, dignified, chaste and fraternally benevolent citizenship. Many (in fact thousands) of young Italians as young as six or seven years old (these clothed by their parents) and even many adults, walk around in public with the F-word printed large on their T-shirts. The official explanation is that, being Italian, they do not know what this English word means. However, most of course know perfectly well what it means, and relish the opportunity to flaunt it as an officially unknown foreign word without fear of prosecution for indecency. Such is the wilful depravity of current Italian popular culture.
Why am I criticising modern Italy like this? It is simply to put your mind at rest about European criticism of the United States - You need take no notice of European criticism, for my contention, having lived in Italy for seven years and having thus observed their domestic administration at first-hand, at street level and in some depth, with the naked eye and ear open to their TV, their legislators, their civil servants, their entertainers, their shopkeepers and their general chatter, is that many similar European countries these days, such as Italy, are internally so chaotically run that they are self-evidently not qualified to speak out on external American policy. Forgive them, there are good people in Italy, and I have been privileged to know some of them, but there are many more, specifically the younger generation, and those elder statesmen and business people with tied interests in the radical European left who wish to use the Iraq conflict simply as an opportunity to try to discredit conservative thought and the American business model, which for so long, because of cleaving to archaic socialist tenets, the left have been unable to compete with. It is a bitterly ironic fact of human nature that individuals and nations often feel more humiliated by the nation who rescues them from oppression than by the nation who oppressed them in the first place, and I speak of course of the American and British liberation of Italy and France from the oppression of German Nazism in World War 2. It is clear however that however much water has flowed under the bridge since then, the new Italians need to get their own chaotic and bug-infested house in order before they should go criticising America. Let Italy literally clean up its own streets before it tries to clean up Washington.
In the European capitals such as Rome, Paris and London, protest marchers line those filthy crumbling streets in ignorant support of Islamic terrorism. The banners and flags these throngs wave above their heads are not the patriotic flags of their nation, for these people are not nationalists True patriotism for them would be too much like hard work. Instead, they believe in a one-world state, a religion of mediocrity and laissez-faire amoral codes of politically correct conduct in which there are no rules to hinder their personal excesses of behavior, or to reprove, correct or police their neglect of civic duty. And the flags they thus wave to promote this philosophy are (predictably) the resurrected red flag of communism, the tired and clichéd face of Che Guevara, and of course, the utterly meaningless rainbow of so-called peace, a Christian symbol ignorantly hijacked by atheists. But they know not of any peace. Peace for these new Europeans simply means being left alone to have fun.
Peace for young Europeans means never having to say theyre sorry for anything. Peace for them means never feeling a pang of guilt, embarrassment or shame for sins of commission or omission. Peace means never being told that they might be wrong. Peace for the new European means never having to be drafted into an army to fight to defend other citizens in their nation, nor indeed to defend citizens in anyone elses nation. In fact especially not citizens in anyone elses nation. It is a mathematical fact that while America and England have countless times come to the military aid of other nations in trouble, not once on any page in history has any country ever come to Americas aid, and beyond its own commonwealth, America is the only nation who ever unreservedly came to Englands aid. Friends in Europe is certainly not a thing that England or America has ever had in great number, not when the chips were down.
Yet Europeans today have slipped even further into depravity Slipped so far down the slope of the populist communism and militant pluralism which has been errantly taught to them now by some three generations of home-grown liberal schoolteachers, that it is now impossible for the modern young European to comprehend the mindset of such soldiers, officers, medics and assorted civilian volunteers who sacrificed themselves at for instance, Normandy on D-Day, or in the Dunkerque evacuation, or of the volunteers who went to fight in the Spanish civil war. Todays generation of under 40s are so unschooled in what freedom really means, and how it must be purchased and defended, that had they been alive in the early 20th century, they would obviously have left France and Europe and the Jewish Diaspora to burn under Hitler, in the name of peace. Indeed, I heard it said with my own ears just the other day by a young Italian so inflamed and indoctrinated with anti-Americanism that he wished Italy had stayed with Germany in WW2, instead of turning to the US and England for help. Thus, it logically follows that the heroes of the new 21st century Italy and Europe are Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin.
In fact, in the seven years I have lived in Italy, Ive seen a continual and rising increase in Mussolini trivia (pictorial postcards, calendars, even statuettes and posters) for sale in shops here. This is not just kitsch antique junk sold as a joke Far from it These are newly manufactured items - As can be surmised from the comment quoted above, todays Italians are hungering for the good old days of fascist totalitarianism and proud political and military power in Europe. Like the dog that returns to eat its own vomit, the old 19th and early 20th century jealousies of the freedom and success of America still churn in the bellies of hate-mongering Europeans and cancerously grow in the historically ignorant vacuum of younger Europeans minds. The success of the American model continues to puzzle modern Europe just as it puzzled Hitler and puzzles Islamic dictators such as Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden and the Ayatollahs of Iran today - How has America become so wealthy, happy and successful without holding its citizens at gunpoint to compulsorily serve a totalitarian god or despot? It mystifies the Europeans still The answer of course is that unlike Europe and the Islamic states, America has never been fettered or overly tainted with either communism or state religion.
Thus it is that many new Europeans not only do not perceive the threat of social and political infiltration and insurgency by militant Islam, but they in fact are welcoming it as an alternative source of idealistic ammunition and guerrilla force with which to resist what they laughably (if it were not so frightening) call the threat of American imperialism.
Another peculiar criticism Ive heard leveled at America by Italians in recent days is that America only came to Italys aid in WW2 because they had financial interests in Italy...
Well GOOD! Because its by forging mutual financial interests between countries that peace in the world is maintained Free trade between free nations keeps them free. So its no sensible criticism of America to say she only helps those nations she has interests in - It would only be a fool who could think such a thing. Because its in fact when nations have no financial interest, no exchange of goods and ideas, no mutual enterprise, no day-to day contact or business to conduct between themselves that misunderstanding, distrust, jealousy, hate and aggression develops. But in contrast, a sure-fire road to world peace would be for America to forge business interests in every nation on the planet. And then every nation would have a mighty protector, the United States of America. Americas business interests in other nations is the single most powerful and most proven effective instrument for world peace that exists. Ever.
We in Europe therefore want America to keep her business interests with us And thus we want a strong, proud, enterprising American businessman in the White House We certainly dont want what appears to us to be a turncoat compromiser like John Kerry in power, who, as Commander in Chief (a title he has proved he is not legally worthy to bear) would betray and sell out his fellow servicemen and would presumably shrink from allowing and defending home-baked American companies to gainfully expand their interests around the world.
There is no higher honor, no greater opportunity for any European than to work for the Yankee Dollar. And work for it we will, and gladly, if you continue to protect us please.
Im asking you, American friend, to vote for George W Bush this November, because it's the only way Europe can be saved from this slide into hostile political instability. Im British, and when I was a kid in the 1960s, Europe was a nice place to grow up in Not any more. Only George Bush can save Europe from getting worse and being overrun by infiltrators hostile to America.
John Kerry cannot save Europe from this fate, nor does he wish to. Because John Kerry will seek to appease this current European and Islamically-authored anti-American feeling by downsizing and withdrawing US military presence from Europe and the rest of the world. Kerry will compromise the national qualities which have historically made America great, and replace them with the qualities that have made Europe bad.
21st century Europe is a soulless faux-communistic mess, impoverished and mean in spirit, enterprise, international courage or humanitarian direction. Frances recent behavior in refusing to support America was a prime example of this. Continental Europe is a vulnerable little rat that innately succumbs periodically, frequently and obediently to any bloodthirsty wolf that comes along. Do the right thing was not a phrase that originated in Europe. If you doubt me, read history. Any European who ever wanted to do the right thing had to first emigrate to America to be able to do it. And that's another reason why America is the best little country on earth Because the cleverest and bravest and most adventurous and most individualist people in the European gene-pool all left the stifling, communist blinkered chaos of Europe last century and sailed into New York harbor a few days later, never to return. Of course, that exodus of conscience left Europe poorer, not financially, but in terms of the smaller number of citizens of character and courage remaining on the European continent.
So because theres now very few people left in Europe with the wisdom to see the writing on the wall, Europe thus needs a strong and resolved deliverer from the evils of encroaching Muslim domination. They need America for this, just as they needed America to rid them of Nazism in WW2. They cannot do it for themselves Europes modern ecumenical approach to the accommodation of alien religions and cultures will only weaken it more in the face of Islamic determination to overpower western democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of worship and freedom of pursuit of individual happiness as we have traditionally known it. If Europe falls to such a vile conqueror as Islam, then America too will fall soon after, in the domino effect already launched by the aggressive Islamofascism of Al Qaida and its underground Islamic allies. Only George W Bush is resolved to maintain the fight against the enemies of democracy.
Europe needs America, but it does not need the compromising America of John Kerry. Because Kerry will sell Europe down the line to appease the Muslims and quiet militant liberal activism at home. But those of us in Europe and much of the non-Muslim rest of the world who can see the writing on the wall are begging America to rescue us from encroaching Islamic dilution of our democratic heritage, and from terrorism.
We have seen how the Islamofascists brought down the Spanish government last year with just a half-dozen train-bombs in one morning. If every European country succumbed so easily to such Islamic bullying, America would have no allies left in Europe at all. Thus, Kerrys policies of appeasement will only work out worse for America in the long run. America thus needs a strong determined leader now. John Kerry is not that strong leader. George Bush is.
I am a European, an Englishman, and thus I am here and now calling upon Americans to vote wisely in November. Consider how weakened Europe will be if you vote for a president with a weak foreign policy, such as Kerry. On behalf of such Europeans as myself who remember the liberating kindness that America did us in WW2, I ask you now again in 2004 to please maintain the kindness and vote for a strong president such as George W Bush who will continue to provide a lifeline to Europe in these troubled times.
It is NOT your duty to help us, and I would not of course dare to presume such, but if you can find it in your hearts please, when you vote, to think not just of the price of gas at your local filling station, nor of immediate tax breaks, or the cost of medical care These things can all be negotiated later with your president, and at leisure. But on the day you vote, think FIRST please of Europe and the rest of the wider world, think of international security, and thus vote for George Bush. Think of the world situation NOW and vote for George Bush.
Think of how many Jews and democratic heroes died needlessly in Europe during and even long before WW2 because stronger countries elsewhere at first ignored the danger signs and cries for help and delayed their involvement in ridding the world of the tyrant Hitler. And think of the consequently massively increased loss in human lives and economic national capital that came later because Hitler was allowed to run on unchecked in his aggressions for too long. A stitch in time would have saved nine, but that stitch did not come until late. Appeasement never works, and costs more in the long run. So now, in the same way, we need America to rid us in Europe and the rest of some of the more defenseless countries in the world of the tyrants and underground cells who serve Islamo-fascism. We need America to help get Europe back on the right track again.
We need America to help give Europeans national civic pride again. We need America to help put the neighborly soul back into Europe that young Europeans are rebelling against in ignorance of their history. We need America to provide the new renaissance that scarred and rotting Europe so badly needs now at this time. We need America, Europes only true friend and deliverer from evil, and George W Bush as president, the only man alive in the world at present who can and has the will and wherewithal to deliver Europe and rest of the world from forthcoming doom. For though such Europeans as I are in a minority, nevertheless, it is us who remain, to hope, pray, campaign and defend true democratic freedom in Europe, which along with open trade markets and quiet military policing of the borders of our global democracy, will maintain a prosperous and peaceful Europe. Kerry will not give us this George Bush will.
Kerry is as muddled over Iraq and international politics as he was in Vietnam, and he will be as secretive and puzzling, as unforthcoming and opaque in his political dealings as he is over his military record. If Kerry got into power, we would never really know or understand what he was up to. Unfit to serve, unfit to lead, and pathologically unsuited to either. Kerry is not concerned with Europe, nor does he have the vision to see Europes importance on the world stage as the last-but-one bastion of democratic world freedom, but George Bush is our defender, because George Bush is an American American. George Bush knows the importance and value to America of keeping Europe as a liberated ally for the future, and he stands by this.
Europe needs saving and rescuing from a foe who is already at our borders and who will not stop at Europe but afterwards will proceed to conquer Canada and then, logically, to conquer dear America herself, from across her weakened northern border, and from within. Such is the stated aim of Islamofascism. So please do not desert us in Europe. We are the first emerging battlefront against Islamofascism. We are counting on you, the American voter, to, by your vote, deliver Europe from encroaching spineless social anarchy and the Islamic totalitarianism that will follow it. Please, consider the international situation and VOTE BUSH to defend Europe and bolster American support across the Atlantic. Its our only hope.
I want you now, please, as an American, but also as a modern citizen of the world, to consider your place in history as the world turns on this forthcoming momentous date - The 2004 US Presidential election Will you get involved and vote for the world? Will you vote for Europe please? Will you vote to re-elect George Bush and in so doing, save Europe?
Its only re-election were talking about. George Bush isnt an unknown quantity. You voted for him before, and you were right to So vote for him again - For the sake of America, for the sake of Britain, for the sake of Europe, and for the protection of right-thinking people everywhere people like you. The world is now a dirtier, crazier, more dangerous place than it was even in 2000 We don't want to see it get any worse. We want someone who can clean it up, someone who can contain and limit the damage. We in Europe want that world protection, that continuing security umbrella that only George Bush in the White House can continue to give. Its what America has always done for us. Please dont desert us now - Vote next week with us in mind, and so vote Bush.

PS - There are many who would want to silence the kind of column I've just written, or even to silence me permanently. So if you should ever hear of any ill that has befallen me in future days, then know this, that the underground enemy of America and of democracy is active, know that they are vile and murderous, and that their only response to reasonable apologetics and democratic electioneering such as that written above, is to kill. And this is why they must be stopped. To quote a well-worn cliche:
First they came for the USS Cole:
And I did not speak up because, hey, theyre soldiers, they get paid to get blown up anyway.
Then they came for the embassies in Africa:
And I did not speak up because the diplomatic service is also kind of a dicey occupation, so they knew what they were getting into.
Then they came for the 3,400 office workers and firemen in the Word Trade Centre:
And I did not speak up because I wasn't a New Yorker, and anyway I was starting to feel that perhaps America had done something really bad to deserve this, though I couldn't for the life of me think what, because America has been flying all over the world for a hundred years, not to blow other people up, but to protect them from other people blowing them up.
Then they came for the teenage ravers in Bali:
And I did not speak up because I don't go to nightclubs, and where the heck is Bali anyway?
Then they came for the British consulate in Istanbul:
And I did not speak up because I was not British. But I was beginning to see a pattern The bombers were going after white protestants.
Then they came for the Spanish office workers on the train to Barcelona:
And I did not speak up because we have enough Spaniards in LA already. Wait a minute though those werent protestants, they were Catholics that just got blown up. Looks like these Islamics will kill anybody that doesn't agree with them. Religion of peace, huh?
Then they came for Romebuddy, that English guy with the website in Italy who begged us on behalf of Europe to vote for Bush in 2004:
And I said, hey, its just one guy. Maybe he should have done the sensible thing and just kept his mouth shut. On the other hand, did simply speaking ones mind suddenly become the worst sin in the world, punishable by death? What happened to freedom of speech? Isnt that what America was founded for?
Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak up for me.
Meantime, Id voted for John Kerry, and he wouldn't speak up for me either.
Needless to say, when they beheaded me, it came as a complete surprise.
At least I finally got to be on TV.
Vote Bush, before they come for you, wherever you are. Because they are coming...
