FRENCH APOLOGIZE FOR NOT SUPPORTING COALITION

In the wake of Saddam Hussein's loss of power and the defeat of his military, plus the open-arm welcome by Iraqi citizens of coalition forces - none of whom were French - the French Office of Public Sycophancy (FOPS), released a statement that President Chirac is in full accord with the outcome of bagging Baghdad.
Pierre Poofie, Director of FOPS, assured reporters that "President Chirac has been preparing for this moment for some time. Prior to his calling President Bush, I myself witnessed his final efforts to convince the world that his head is in the right place."
